Super Mario Bros. Wonder features a challenging bonus realm known as the Special World, which serves as the ultimate test of platforming precision for players. Accessing this high-difficulty zone requires discovering seven distinct secret entrances hidden across the various regions of the Flower Kingdom. Each entrance connects directly to a specific course within the Special World, rewarding completionists who take the time to fully explore every map.

Unlocking Entrances in Pipe-Rock Plateau and Fluff-Puff Peaks

In Pipe-Rock Plateau, players must locate the secret exit in the Bulrush Express level by breaking a brick wall using the Elephant power-up. Finishing the subsequent side courses and badge trials reveals the first portal to the Special World.

For Fluff-Puff Peaks, players can reach the portal by completing the main course line towards the far right side of the cloud tier. Clearing the rhythm-based Jump! Jump! Jump! stage alongside the Spring Feet badge trial unlocks the second hidden warp point.

Finding Portals in Shining Falls, Sunbaked Desert, and Fungi Mines

Accessing the portal in Shining Falls requires players to complete the main story of the world and revisit the Royal Seed Mansion to speak with Master Poplin. In the Sunbaked Desert, players must discover the secret exit in Secrets of Shova Mansion by pushing a green block into a floor opening, which opens the path through a series of extra stages.

Fungi Mines features one of the most unique unlock requirements in the game. Players must complete the Operation Poplin Rescue stage a second time, prompting the grateful Poplins to open the world's Special World entrance on the map.

Navigating Deep Magma Bog and Petal Isles Entrances

Deep Magma Bog requires substantial progression, as players need to gather at least 25 Wonder Seeds throughout the world to open the lower path. Completing the tough sequence of Expert Badge Challenges at the bottom of the region unlocks the sixth portal.

The final portal in the Petal Isles appears near the entrance to World 1 after completing a full loop around the central ocean map. Beating the Wiggler Race Spelunking stage completes this navigational circuit and reveals the final warp point into the Special World.
